Can you still make money with Slicethepie in 2018? In this Slicethepie Review, we'll give you all the information you need to make that ultimate decision.
Here's what you're about to read:
What is Slicethepie?
Slicethepie was launched in 2007. That's more than 10 years ago.
It isn't like any of the sites we reviewed on here before.
It isn't a survey program like Opinion Outpost or Global Test Market. It isn't a rewards or paid-to-click website like NeoBux or CashCrate. It isn't even MLM like doTERRA.
It was created so that music creators can get early feedback on their music.
And that's what it is today. A paid review program for those who wanna check out fresh music and write reviews.
Since their launch in '07, Slicethepie added a couple different categories. Fashion and mobile.
That means you'd be able to review stuff like apparel and mobile apps.
In 10+ years, they've been able to generate over 28 million reviews for their clients and paid over 3 million to their reviewers.
Pretty good numbers.
How to Make Money with Slicethepie
They have 2 make money methods:
i. Review Stuff
We mentioned they have 3 categories...music, mobile, and fashion.
Unfortunately, they don't have much fashion or mobile items available for review.
But there is always plenty of songs.
The process is simple:
You get about a cent for every review (which kinda sucks).
ii. Refer a Friend
Referral programs are usually great for making money. Slicethepie's program is alright. Not the best, but alright.
The amount you earn totally depends on how much your referral makes.. Your exact cut is 10%. But that is practically nothing if your referrals only make $10 every month.
So unless you can get dozens of referrals and make them post a bunch of reviews every day, you won't make much.
To make $200 per month, you will have to refer at least 200 people and show them how to write 1000 reviews every month.
That's a lot.
My Personal Slicethepie Review and Experience
So the signup process is simple. Signup and confirm via email. No credit card needed, or anything like that. Joining the program is absolutely free.
The website's user experience is great. Everything was where it was supposed to be. Nothing slowing you down or anything like that.
Writing the reviews was kinda difficult for me at first. I'm not a music expert. So my first couple reviews had to be scrapped and rewritten. I had no idea what most musical terminology meant. I had to look it up.
So if all you know about music is how catchy the hook is, you'll have to get up to speed before you can even write a helpful review.
And they won't let you write random shit. Believe me. I tried. I guess they have some sorta program that reads your review. If it doesn't look legit, they'll ask you to rewrite it.
So overall, my experience was pretty good.
The Verdict is in...
Is Slicethepie a scam? No. I can honestly say it's 100% legitimate.
However, I can't say that it would be my first choice. There's a way better way to make money online. I'll tell you in a bit.
Here's why I wouldn't recommend Slicethepie:
