Youngevity Review: Is it a Legit MLM Business Opportunity?

Can you make money with Youngevity in 2017? Or is Youngevity a scam? In this Youngevity Review, we'll give you all the information you need to make that ultimate decision.

Here's what you're about to read:

What is Youngevity?

Youngevity is a network marketing company that's in the health and nutrition space. Their products are designed to help you get healthier.

We've reviewed another MLM program before called doTERRA.

Anyway, Youngevity was founded in 1997, according to their company page, by a Dr. Joel D. Wallach.

What is MLM?

The MLM Business Opportunity

The MLM business model is more or less the same in every network marketing company. It essentially looks like this:

  • check
Signup under a sponsor. This will put you in their downline.
  • check
Learn how to get people into your downline.
  • check
Teach them how to get people into their downline.

The good money is in the third step.

Yes, you'll make money for getting people under you. But if you can get them to get others under them over and over again, you'll be able to get a nice percentage of every single sale your downline generated.

Sometimes, it can go as far as 10 levels.

To achieve this, it's nearly impossible without great knowledge and experience. First, you'll have to learn as much as you can and then pass it on to the people you referred to the business.

How to Make Money with Youngevity

The difference between Youngevity and shady MLM companies is that they actually have products. Shady MLMs usually only have training videos or some dumb membership subscription they try to pass off as "product".

Anyway, to make money with this MLM, you will have to sell its products.

But before you can do all that, you will have to get inside the Youngevity MLM network. And there's only one a Youngevity distributor's pack.

If you take a look at their comp plan, you'll see that there are 13 levels. Each level after the second one has its own criteria where you'll have to get people to a certain level so you can move up.

For example, say you're on level 3 and you wanna get to 4. You would have to get any 3 level 2s or straight-up customers. If you wanna get to level 5, you'd have to get 3 level 3s.

That means you would have to sell the Youngevity opportunity to somebody, have them purchase a distribution pack, teach them how to get their own referrals, and do it all over again.

My Personal Youngevity Review and Experience

Overall, my experience was OK. Their website experience is alright. It's not like I was bored or anything. They do give out some decent information about the company.

I also like the fact that they actually have about 3 dozen products.

But is it enough for me to give them a recommendation?

The Verdict is in...

Is Youngevity a scam? I certainly don't think so. They do have products people can actually use. Shady MLMs don't.

However, their prices are a lot like MLM pyramid schemes I've unfortunately been a part of (I was scammed).

And the fact that some of their distributors claim Youngevity products are "miracle healers" makes them sound a little phoney.

I'm not saying Youngevity is one, but these are some red flags.

Also, MLM is a tough business. Especially for people who know nothing about it. There are better ways to make money online.

Here's What We Recommend

Instead of making money on someone else's business. why don't you create your own? All you really need is a website, something to sell, and some people to sell it to.

Now, don't worry. You don't necessarily have to create your own product. Perhaps someday you'll get into that.

Right now, you can make money selling other people's products in exchange for a commission. It's called affiliate marketing.

How does it work?

First of all, you build a website around a specific area. It'll have to be targeted at a certain group of people. If you take me as an example, I chose to help people like you learn how they can make money on the internet.

Next, you will need a high-quality product that will actually help your potential visitors. And to get people to come to your website and buy the product, you will do this through content creation and search engine optimization.

That means you'll create an article like the one you're currently reading right now and get it ready (optimize) for it to appear in Google search results.

If you haven't realized it yet, it's exactly what I'm doing right now...

I built this site, wrote this post, optimized it for Google search, and're here! 🙂

Now, all that's left is for me to get you to buy something. What, you ask?

Wealthy Affiliate. (read our review here)

It's not my product. Obviously.

It's a membership program where you can learn how to build websites on your own and do what I'm doing...get people to your site and sell them something.

In the program, you will get access to the following:

  • check
Everything you need to build a website.
  • check
Dozens of training courses. Including everything from building a site from scratch to making your first dollar.
  • check
24/7 support. Including live chat, the quick-responding support team, and the thousands of Wealthy Affiliate members. It's almost like Facebook for people who wanna make money.

If you're not sure, I can make you a deal.

If you decide to join using the big green button below, you can do so without paying a single dime. You can have full access to the site for 7 whole days free of charge.

You don't even need to give out your credit card info!

I'll see you inside!
